Speaking of Shiny i'm up to "Out Of Gas" in my semi-annual rewatch of 
Firefly.  After that i'll rewatch Samurai Champloo (26 episodes, yum!), 
I need to find a few more "gotta have" mini series to keep me 
entertained throughout the year.

I tried cowboy bebop, it didn't have a great feel to it.  I've also 
tried a few other samurai anime series but the all seem to be missing 
something, or too steeped in mysticism.  I seem to prefer series mainly 
based on real life, real people, real situations, but not reality TV.
