If you have a TV monitor with component input and a wii then you really 
MUST use the component cables for the wii. Today I picked up some of 
these cables from GameStop. I had to search around a lot because these 
cables are almost as hard to find as the wii itself. I could tell a HUGE 
difference in the picture quality. Now the output is 480p instead of 
480i (after a configuration change) so the picture is a lot more clear. 
And the color bleeding is completely gone. The quality is much better 
and my wife could even tell a big difference right away. This is still 
obviously not high def, but compares more to DVD quality. I had not used 
regular composite connections for anything other than a VCR for a long 
time and I forgot about how bad it is. And I think video games in 
particular look bad with composite connections because of all the bright 
colors.
