I told him that if that was the issue, I'd gladly pay for commercial
service - but then asked if it would work any better, and he said it
wouldn't.

I'm making a video to post on YouTube of my daily experiences with
BrightHouse. It went out (the 'cable' light on the modem was OFF) 11
times today. I'm not a hypochondriac. I've had BH service for the
greater part of a decade -- this is not how the service performs
normally. Just ask Kevin Korb how many times I've timed out on IRC today. :p
