If you post it on Slashdot, under the Ask Slashdot area, you'd be better
off with a final section asking questions.

Has anyone else had a similar experience? 
If so, what did they do about it?
Is there any other course of action one would recommend?

On a side note, one of the things you could do is get a monitoring service.
WebSitePulse offers a free 30 day trial, and I would recommend them over
one of us in the group simply because they are independent and impartial.
They'll track a plethora of services on your network, just give them IP
address or dynamic host (or whatever).

Then you could have some solid "evidence" that you could point BH to - they
don't like self-generated photos and videos.

FWIW, my answer from ComCast on the disruptions was "Sorry, try a different
provider" as well.
