Firstly, you've never seen numbers like this. It's a record... not an
online record, but a primary fund raising record. No one had ever done
it before. Howard Dean never came close. Nor did Howard Dean have any
caucus organization in Iowa. That's not the case with RP.

Yeah, he did so poorly that he was appointed Chairman of one of two
biggest political parties in the US.. woes him. And he clearly plans on
running for President again then next time a slot is open.

You must be the expert then. It's not possible the rest of us have been
involved in politics long. Thank god cynicism isn't contagious.
As for your expertise, my resume contains two paid political positions,
both for US Senate. I only say this because you seem so concerned with
telling us your qualifications, I figured I'd tell you mine.
And I had never ever ever ever considered Ron Paul might lose. :p Have
you ever considered the message is far more important than the man?
There's likely hundreds of thousands of people in this country now
interested in topics like the federal reserve and personal liberty and
they were voiceless prior to Ron Paul's candidacy. Whether Ron Paul wins
or loses, America has already won.
Did you watch the Republican debate in Iowa on Tuesday? Every single
candidate has taken at least one talking point from Ron Paul and ran
with it. Maybe with the exception of John McCain... Regardless, Ron Paul
is having an influence on the discussion.

When did Kubby get the LP's nomination? You're being quite presumptuous.

A lot of Ron Paul's potential voters weren't going to vote anyways. And
again, you're presuming more than you should. There's no stated
intention by Ron Paul or his campaign that he'll run independently or as
a 3rd party candidate. Thus he can't pull votes away from anyone...
And quite bluntly, I can't speak for every RP supporter. But I'd rather
see RP lose than Hillary win. Meaning.. I'd likely vote for the
Republican nominee as long as it's not Rudy even if RP is running
independently in November.
