When I was in high school my parents lived about four miles from the
school I went to. Until my Junior year I did not have a car. And my Dad
was not available to pick me up until around 5:00pm. So, I would often
get out of school at 3:00, change clothes, and run four miles home just
so I did not have to wait around. I was in pretty good shape at that
time. And sometimes I think I would be better off if I biked or ran home
from work because of the exercise. Unfortunately, I live about 18 miles
from work an I am not going to bike on central Florida highways!
