Haven't heard of "Fallen Angels".  Is that a movie, book...?  I'll take a look at it if you can give me the info.  Googled it but got lots of different things in response.

I'm not speaking of necessarily fixing a problem, but of being responsible for that which we take and/or use and being grateful.  It's give and take.  If you take, you give something in return.  Balance.  An excellent book I'd like to recommend is "Ishmael" by Daniel Quinn. Interesting book that gives you something to think about.  Like letting people starve in overpopulated areas that can't support the population through natural food sources (both animal and plant)...hard to swallow on an emotional level, but it makes sense. Balance.  If you'd like to borrow it I'll be glad to send it to you.  One of my favorite books.

When you get around to the "can we afford to be wrong" part of the
argument, go read "Fallen Angels" and see what happens if YOU'RE wrong
and we go screwing around trying to "fix" a problem that we didn't
cause.
