I have a Dell Axim X50 PDA and believe it or not, it is one of my favorite
electronic items. I love my Dell Axim and my Dell Monitors, but otherwise,
can't stand Dell.
Anywho... don't know who else on the site is in to PDAs, but they are
expanding beyond Axim.

Hello, This is Chris Leckness from Aximsite.com and Mobilitysite.com. I
would like to invite you to check out what we've done with Aximsite, it's
growing up! 195,000 Members served.
The largest Pocket PC Website Online just got bigger!
http://www.mobilitysite.com / http://www.aximsite.com
By taking the best of both worlds and mixing them together, the Aximsite /
Mobilitysite combination should help us to continue to be great and
continually grow. If you are an inactive member, I ask that you come on
back to see what we have to offer. In addition to Aximsite's great forums,
we now have the powerful Windows Mobile Powered Phone reviews from
Mobilitysite and the great news from Mobilitysite to comment on in the
Aximsite forums.
We have a big contest coming up soon as well as lots of addtions to the
site's functionality. We plan to launch a Photo Gallery like we had on
Mobilitysite, a download section, and more. Another cool thing is that
Mobilitysite now looks like it's brother.
As you may or may not be aware of, I create Aximsite in 2002. A year later,
I created iPaqHQ as a sort of sister site. I eventually ditched iPaqHQ and
rolled it into Mobilitysite.com to create a more general PocketPC/Windows
Mobile site that would focus on these mainly and branch a bit out to other
operating systems and types of mobile gear. Mobilitysite is basicly a mesh
of a blog and forums like Aximsite's.
A while back I sent out a call to help mold the future of Aximsite by
contributing your opinions and I have made our move. We have basicly taken
the best of both worlds and created a larger entity. Aximsite and
Mobilitysite are still separate on the surface, but underneath the hood (the
forums), we are now merged.
There is alot left to fix, but the unified forums should accomplish many
goals. Since the Dell Axim is no longer being sold, the community can still
thrive, but our members are going to upgrade to a Pocket PC Phone or
Smartphone eventually. Mobilitysite has those subjects covered, so why not
just keep it all under one "Roof" ( the forums ). In addition, and a
somewhat selfish reason, less work for me. There is less to do
administratively if the forums are merged.
We have alot left to fix like I said, but have most of the major kinks
worked out and would like to welcome you to the new Aximsite/Mobilitysite
Collective :)
To celebrate this move, we are launching some major contests in the next
week or two... So far you can look for things like the Mitac Mio GPS PPC
Phone, HP iPAQ 6920, an HTC Phone, Illium Software - 5 Copies of "Winner's
Choice", Astraware goodies, some cases from PDAir ( Winner's Choice ),
OnCourse Navigator 6 Premium edition 2GB microSD edition, SBSH Software - 4x
Winner's Choice, Print copy of Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine with full VIP
privileges, Pocket PC version of Best of Everything Software Package,
Proporta Gadget Bag Bundle for Winner's Device, Otterbox cases, Mastersoft
Brain School and more!!!
Come check it all out and either join in the new conversations or just come
back to enjoy the old site! Thanks for reading and I look forward to this
growth with the new site.
