I've never had anything that cool, but I ran my BBS for several months
back in the '80s on a motherboard that didn't match a single hole in
the proprietary case, so I had it duct-taped in place with a wire
running from one of the grounding pads to the case.  (No fair making
fun of me for whatever the actual term for what I'm calling "grounding
pads" is.)

A buddy bought the parts to mount his motherboard in the wall with all
the ports sticking through it, but his mom nixed the plan when I
showed up with the jigsaw.
