I am really hesitant to apply any new Thunderbird patch/update. I am 
currently using 1.0.7. But the last time I applied an update it dumped 
every single message from all of my organized folders all into my inbox. 
And on top of that somehow I ended up with hundreds of messages in my 
inbox that I had deleted months ago. And the worst was that during one 
update all my contacts in the address book magically disappeared. I had 
to go back to a backup of my system to repopulate my address book. I 
might stay on my current version for a long time.
