I tried to find something on Uranus to make the obvious jokes, but
they're in a long runup to their centuries-long summer right now so
it's not relevant.  However, I did find this theory about cosmic rays
causing warming:

...which I think indicates the general fact that we don't know what's
causing the warming, or what effect any specific change or group of
related changes in human behavior would have.  We can, however,
quantify the economic effects, and they're easier to observe
experimentally too since they are more immediate.
