Hollywood's priorities, however, are *nothing* but politics.  Imagine
if "Midway" was made today; do you think it would happen without
heavy-handed preaching against current military events?

Go look at the history of the "Best Documentary Feature" Oscar.  You
can see the shift occurring.  Nowadays you can have critics
recommending "Grizzly Man" among their top 10 films, but it can't even
get nominated.

When I was a kid you could take your kids to see movies nearly every
weekend; there was ALWAYS something on that was appropriate.  Now,
even the rare G-rated movies are heavy-handed leftism like "Happy
Feet".  And gee, people aren't going to movies anymore.
