Don't when/if I will ever update my webpage beyond chaning my job
title/location if that ever changes.
I am, however, wanting to facility sharing of media (mainly photos) more
easily with friend & family. I download all the images to PC at home and
then rsync full images up to ISP regularly.
I'd like to build a front end to the picture respository that would allow
me to do things like:
a) create thumbs for viewing
b) create webpages of thumbs based for specific users
c) zip up images from selected thumbs for download
d) slide show selected thumbs
e) enable multiple sizes (small/media/large) to be created for viewing
on the fly.
I have envisioned imagemagik would be idea for this, but don't know when I
will get to it.
I've looked at numerous tools/programs, but haven't found one that does
quite what I am looking for with 0 maintenance.
If someone know of somthing or starts deleveloping something, let me know.
I'm in no hurry. This has been in the conception stage for over a year.
Thanks,
Liston
