Could we have a little more info on that "study"? Who did the study? Details of the study.
As I've stated before, for every study there is almost always one that contradicts that study. It's a matter of viewpoint and pocketbook.

Sounds like you've been reading up on the "recycle conundrums"...
Like the fact that a study was done showing that citys that have recycling
programs actually end up doing more damage to the enviroment because of
all the environmental impact to pick all the crap up!
