Yet, 95% of my music in iTunes is DRM free.
And FWIW....
DRM = a contract. Why care if anyone else enters into the contract?
People sign up for high interest debt every day, far more evil IMHO.
I'm not 100%, but i'd bet that Jobs gets pressure to not sell DRM-free
unless the big labels do so, and he can't make it publicly known that
pressure is there.
DRM is the last line of defense the big labels have to their respective
industries.
