Sounds like you are set with cheaper/fun solution, but I have been
thrilled with voip.com at $5/month. It stores up to 90 messages for 60
days and sends you the .wav so you have them indefinitely. I forward
notification to numerous devices with caller-id also (although voip often
just put the number instead of the name/number). I need the ability to
check email via .wav or phone.

If you are able to absorb long-distance numbers or toll charge numbers
then their are also free services out there if you want to roll the dice.

Speaking of faxing...

I have used http://www.faxway.com for years without issue. It allows free
incoming faxes to private long-distance phone numbers which delivers .tif
to via email. You can send fax with the server for 10 cent a minute by
sending it at word doc, pdf, etc format attachment to specific email
address.

I don't use as much lately since purchasing the Dell MFP 1815DN fax/laser
printer. The unit prints great and send email anytime I send/receive fax
to email address for archiving & instant viewing wherever I am.

Cheers,
Liston
