I do not have any boxes and packing material to pack, so I will be dropping the hardware off at UPS for them to pack and ship. I will then take a digital photo of the receipt with your shipping info and cost and email it. I accept check or paypal (lee (at) ww2dx (dot) com) These items all worked, a few things like the RAID drives and the utlra5 was my own personal workstation a few years ago. You can install solaris, FreeBSD (Rules), OpenBSD (Rules), or various Linux's on this hardware. If you have any questions please send me mail. This will be first come first serve and I will keep a list incase someone passes. 73 de Lee WW2DX _______________________________________________ FreeBay mailing list Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/freebay Help: http://mailman.qth.net/mmfaq.html Post: mailto:FreeBay at mailman.qth.net -- Kevin P. Note that the proposed station would operate on 40 kHz rather than 60 kHz. I wonder the existing clocks and watches would respond to that frequency or if these new devices would require some sort of frequency selector switch?.You may wish to let the director know of some of your problem experiences with the existing service. John The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) is considering the establishment of a U.S. East Coast low-frequency radio station broadcasting NIST time in binary code format to complement the present NIST 60 kHz, WWVB broadcast. More information about the current WWVB broadcasts is available athttp://tf.nist.gov/stations/wwvb.htm. The proposed new East Coast broadcast will operate with the same time code format as the present WWVB signal, but at a different carrier frequency, potentially at 40 kHz. In 1999 the power of the WWVB broadcast out of Ft. Collins, Colo., was increased from 13 kW to 50 kW and has since been increased to 70 kW. Even at this power level there are locations on the East Coast that have difficulty in consistently receiving the time code. It has been suggested that an East Coast broadcast would make the time code easier to receive and increase the sales of radio-controlled clocks. It also would provide new opportunities for the development of radio-controlled timing devices in appliances and other consumer products. If such a new station would be valuable to you or your company, let us know how it would help. Surfraw provides a fast unix command line interface to a variety of popular WWW search engines and other artifacts of power. It reclaims google, altavista, dejanews, freshmeat, research index, slashdot and many others from the false-prophet, pox-infested heathen lands of html-forms, placing these wonders where they belong, deep in unix heartland, as god loving extensions to the shell. . Surfraw abstracts the browser away from input. Doing so lets it get on with what it's good at. Browsing. Interpretation of linguistic forms is handed back to the shell, which is what it, and human beings are good at. Combined with incremental text browsers, such as links, w3m (or even lynx), and screen(1), or netscape-remote a Surfraw liberateur is capable of research speeds that leave GUI tainted idolaters agape with fear and wonder. -- Shawn McMahon | EIV Consulting | in larido veritas http://www.eiv.com | -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... I like the tactile but it makes hellacious noise. It also needs to be ps/2 because my primary KVM is legacy in that way (but I could get a converter I guess). This would be my primary keyboard at my desk at home. Looking for recommendations for something solid, nice and strong big keys and a soft touch like the Mac keyboards would be nice. Not looking for cheap junk. Willing to pay a little more if it will last. I am the original fat finger non-typist clumsy ox. Suggestions?
